Biography:
Arnaud Rosseel, born in 1998, holds a Master Degree in Electrical Energy and Smart Grids (2020) from the University of Mons (Belgium). Since August 2020, he has started a PhD Thesis in the same research field with the Power Systems and Market Research group (PSMR)

With the increase of Distributed Energy Resources in distribution networks, the prediction of reactive power exchanges at distribution/transmission interfaces has significantly been complexified, making it difficult to maintain voltages within predefined standards.
The aim of this thesis is on the one hand to understand complex reactive power behaviour at interfaces and on the other hand to minimize reactive power management costs at interfaces.
